Deput Mayor of Milton Keynes Sam Crooks attended the event

The inspiring and successful event connected young people from diverse communities, and they were able to speak openly about subjects such as mental health, identity, religion and sexuality.

The evening unfolded by exploring and taboo breaking language perceptions across cultures within our society, which should eventually create shared language and attitude change.

The college performance arts students, including our invited guest poets, that shared their experiences passionately and continue to break barriers within diverse communities and young people, was a moving experience for everyone.
