intu staff donate their time for Willen Hospice

Members of the intu Milton Keynes team have been donating their time to Willen Hospice, helping out with jobs around the centre.

intu Milton Keynes’ tech service team spent a day helping Willen Hospice to clear out a shed that was packed full of old furniture, carpets and more. The three members of the team removed and sorted through everything; cleaning items that could be salvaged and clearing those that could not.

“We’d like to say a massive thank you to the team at intu Milton Keynes for supporting us and volunteering their time to help clear through our storage shed,” said Sarah Sweet-Rowley, events manager at Willen Hospice.

“Without the dedication of volunteers, we simply couldn’t do what we do and we we’re absolutely thrilled to have had the support of the intu team”

Martin Moran is the maintenance manager at intu.

“We had a great day helping the team at Willen Hospice with some jobs,” he said Martin Moran.

“It’s great that intu allows us time to give to charities in this way; when you’re there, you realise how important this sort of support is.”
