Feis MK is expected to attract hundreds of people when it runs across September 24 and 25.

The Irish Dancing event is being organised by the Mary Drake School of Irish Dancing.

“We are proud of the role the Irish community take in Milton Keynes and we are looking forward to welcoming families from across the UK and Ireland to this major sporting event,” said Michael O Hanlon from the MK Irish Centre, who will sponsor the event.

Competitors from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England are expected to partake.

Milton Keynes Mayor Councillor Keith McLean attended Sunday’s event: “It is a great privilege to host this dancing extravaganza and we are looking forward to sharing Milton Keynes as a ‘go to’ destination,” he said.
