HUNDREDS of visitors packed into a top gear event which showcased some of the finest cars at thecentre:mk’s annual Motor Show.
The show, which was held from January 13 to January 16, featured a classy display of the latest models exhibited by the industry’s leading manufacturers as well as launching a world first in motoring hybrid technology.
The attention grabbing model was the pre-production Lexus Hybrid CT 200h which has been recognised as the world’s first fully hybrid luxury compact car.
Morgan dealer and Lotus repairer, Allon White Sports Cars of Cranfield, also exhibited two cars from its Morgan sports car range of traditionally styled cars. The distinctive hand built Morgan Plus 4 and a Plus 4 Roadster which utilise a 2 litre Duratec engine from Ford, was among the cars on display.
Enthusiastic crowds were also attracted to an exhibition of the Renault F1 team car which was used in practise for the 2008 Grand Prix.
