Gold jewellery was stolen from a home in Woburn Sands just weeks before Christmas.

Burglars broke into the property in Chapel Street and took a gold necklace with a diamond pendant and four gold rings.

It happened between about 8am and 6.30pm on Thursday, December 10.

One of the offenders is possibly southern European or Arabic, in his late forties to early fifties, slim to medium build and about 5ft 10ins or 5ft 11ins. Police have released an E-fit of this offender (above).

There is no description of the second offender.

Police believe that the offenders may have been travelling in a white van.

PC Karen Waters said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in this E-fit to contact police immediately. The easiest way to do this is by calling 101.

“I would also appeal to anyone else with any other information about the incident, no matter how insignificant you think it might be, to contact the police because your information could aid our investigation.
