Jimmy James Jones is going to be a household name some time very soon. Fact.
One of comedy’s rising stars, Jimmy James Jones is the sort of comedian who manages to be exciting, multi-facted and lively without forgetting the most important thing of all – he’s got the jokes to back it up.
His style is that of an o bservational comedian, and Jimmy James has a quick quip delivery that has been refined by being one of the regular hosts and performers at London’s Comedy Cafe in Shoreditch.
Even the biggest names on the circuit agree: Tony Law calls him “my new favourite comedian,” John Fleming rates him as “the future of UK comedy,” and The Legendary Noel Faulkner describes him as no less than “the only reason I am still in the comedy business.”
He recently opened for Luisa Omielan on her What Would Beyonce Do? tour AND he’s performed with the excellent Lee Camp.
Did we mention that Milton Keynes is his hometown? Well it is – so make sure you get down and roar your approval between the laughs.
There may not be many future opportunities to see Jimmy James in such a n intimate setting as The Slug And Lettuce in Milton Keynes on Sunday night, and you should probably make your plans now.
Jimmy James Jones will be at the Slug And Lettuce on April 13 from 8pm.
The event will also feature a performance from Pippa Akers.
