A woolly jumper designed around the 12 days of Christmas won a keen knitter a spot in the final of a festive TV show.
Ana Sanchez Forner, owner of the wool shop in Newport Pagnell, made the top five in a competition for Channel 4’s Homemade Christmas.
The design was the perfect fit for crafty host Kirstie Allsopp who was on the look out for an unusal knitted ensemble.
Speaking to the Citizen, Ana said: “Being part of the show was really good fun. Kirstie was very friendly and we had a great time.
Ana now hopes the show will help encourage newbie knitters to try it out.
She said: “The best thing about knitting is you can make whatever you want. If you need any help, just pop into the shop.”
