GCSE and A Level students are invited to learn what an apprenticeship is really like at the Milton Keynes College open event on Tuesday (March 10).
A specialist ‘Apprenticeship Zone’ will be set up to give learners an opportunity to explore the wide variety of industries available at all levels right up to higher education, including accounting, marketing and IT.
Leading local and national employers will also on hand to answer questions about what it is like to work for their organisations.
The event is part of the eighth annual National Apprenticeship Week co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service, and is designed to celebrate the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses and the economy. The event runs from 5.30-8pm and is open to all school leavers and their parents. To register visit http://www.mkcollege.ac.uk/listing/news/detail/March-Open-Events
