A garden at Milton Keynes University Hospital has been transformed, thanks to The Lions Club of Bletchle

Bletchley Lions have taken over the maintenance of one of the many gardens at the hospital, with the help of Dobbies Garden Centre.

The garden is where the patients are discharged from hospital after treatment.

Starting work in June, the Lions transformed the area from a patch of weeds to a nice place to relax while waiting to leave hospital.

The garden now has four pots planted with pansies and more in the surrounding borders, plus a table and chairs.

And the Lions have planted bulbs in the garden to supply colour next year.

The plants have been supplied by Dobbies of Bletchley ,

The Lions club will be returning on a regular basis to put in new plants and maintain the garden.
