THESE soldiers stood to attention as part of the Wartime exhibition at the Cowper and Newton Museum.

On Sunday and Monday, people visited the museum near Olney to relay their memories of the country during war time.

This is so that the recollections can be saved for future generations to assess and enjoy in time. Readings of war poetry were also recorded as part of building a living archive.

MP Mark Lancaster visited the museum, recalling some of his own memories from his time spent serving in Afghanistan with the TA and met with other soldiers who have defended their country.
