London Midland introduces temporary fare for off-peak passengers travelling between Milton Keynes and London Euston

Off-peak rail users can travel between Milton Keynes and London Euston for less, thanks to a new temporary fare which is being introduced by rail operator London Midland.

From Sunday, September 21, passengers will be able to take advance of a new off-peak single ticket priced at just £12 – the cheapest off-peak single fare available.

This special rate ticket will be available for a 12 week period until Saturday, December 13, and is available for purchase both online and at station booking offices.

Terry Oliver, London Midland’s head of route for West Coast services said: “This brand new ticket is great news for both leisure and business customers, as it allows you to travel to the capital and come back on a different day for less.

“As well as being cheaper it also offers much greater flexibility; you don’t need to book in advance to qualify – simply turn up at the station, grab your ticket and go”.

London Midland runs up to five trains per hour between Milton Keynes and London Euston and you can travel any day, Monday to Sunday, just avoid the morning and evening peaks.

Business travellers may also find they benefit, with the first off-peak service leaving Milton Keynes at 9.22am and arriving into Euston at 10.18am.

Passengers travelling out of London Euston towards Milton Keynes can also qualify for the £12 fare on the 4.46pm and 7.13pm services – providing value for money options around your working day.
