Lorry driver left with life changing injuries after collision with white van


A lorry driver has been left with life changing injuries following a collision with a white van on Saturday.

Police are now appealing for witnesses after the white Mercedes Sprinter van and lorry crashed at around 5.30pm on the A422 between Buckingham and Milton Keynes.

The road was closed in both directions for six hours while officers examined the scene and vehicles were recovered.

The driver of the lorry, a 43-year-old man from London was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he is in a stable condition.

The driver of the Mercedes Sprinter van, a 52-year-old man from Kettering, was taken to Milton Keynes Hospital with a minor head injury.

He was released the same day after treatment.
