Frosts has transformed its restaurant into a stunning floral display ahead of the Chelsea Flower Show, which was launched yesterday by Managing Director, James Frost.
Britain’s most prestigious flower show, the Chelsea Flower Show, is fast approaching, with keen gardeners up and down the country flexing their green fingers ready to see cutting-edge garden design, new plants and exciting ideas.
To celebrate, and for the first time in its history, Frosts Garden Centre is hosting a quintessentially English floral themed Afternoon Tea from Monday 18 May to Sunday 24 May.
The beautifully crafted delicacies are the perfect treat for gardening lovers to celebrate the best of British flora on a summer’s afternoon.
The Chelsea Afternoon Tea will include a selection of sandwiches, strawberry and pink champagne shots and a fresh pot of tea, accompanied by decadent spread of desserts.
There will be delicate daisy cupcakes; lavender shortbread; rosewater, strawberry and pistachio delice; white chocolate mousse with dark chocolate ‘soil’ and freshly baked scones with homemade mixed fruit jam, all sprinkled with edible violas for a truly delicious homage to Britain’s best blooms.
James Frost, managing director at Frosts said: “This year we wanted to let the talented catering team go wild with no boundaries and this is what they have come up with.
“I’m absolutely delighted with their superb creations and the detail they have gone to to capture the essence of the Chelsea Flower Show. They almost look too good to eat, but we’ll give it a jolly good go all the same.”
Afternoon Tea is served from 2pm each day, and costs £19.99 per person.
