A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murders of two teenagers in Fishermead.

Brahim Hajji, of Kruizemuntweg, Tilberg, Netherlands, was arrested in Holland yesterday on suspicion of murder, following the serving of a European Arrest Warrant (EAW).

The arrest was in connection with the murders of 19-year-old Mohamed Abdi Farah and 18-year-old Amin Ahmed Ismail, who were both fatally shot in an alleyway on the Fishermead estate on May 26, 2011.

Hajji was charged at Reading Magistrates’ Court this morning and was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on Tuesday.
