Man, 36, hit over the head and knocked unconscious by robbers who stole his Xbox

A 36-year-old man was knocked unconscious and robbed of his Xbox as he carried it down the street in Wolverton last week.

The victim had been asked for a lighter by two men on bikes as he walked in Old Wolverton Road near the junction with Slated Row at around 5.15am on Friday.

The victim placed the console on the floor to get a lighter out of his pocket and as he did so, one of the offenders snatched the Xbox.

He tried to grab it back but, while doing so, the second offender hit the victim on the head several times, causing the victim to lose consciousness.

The offenders stole a black Xbox One console, with a controller, three games, tobacco and an amount of cash.

The first offender is white, 6ft to 6ft 2ins tall, of slim build, aged in his mid to late twenties, with short dark brown hair, and had stubble. He was wearing bright white Nike trainers, black jogging bottoms and a dark-coloured hooded top.

The second offender is mixed race, 5ft 10ins tall, of stocky build, aged in his mid to late twenties. He was wearing a black-coloured baseball cap with a flat peak with a square-shaped holograph sticker on it dark clothing and had a Nike tick on the chest of his jacket.
