A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident in which a car hit a tree in Bletchley on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the man was arrested at the scene. It’s then thought he was taken to hospital.

The emergency services were called to the junction of Cullen Place and Windermere Drive on the Lakes Estate just before 3.30pm.

Two fire crews and four ambulances attended the scene and four other people, two men and two women, had to be cut free from the vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Zafira, by firefighters using hydraulic rescue equipment.

They were then taken to hospital, although their injuries were not life-threatening.
