Man arrested after Newport Pagnell pub altercation

Police are appealing for information after an incident of GBH in a Newport Pagnell pub on Saturday evening.

Officers were called to The Bull pub in Tickford Street shortly after 7.30pm following reports of an altercation.

On arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 56-year-old man who had sustained a cut to his face.

Detective sergeant Jason Simpson said: “The matter is now under investigation and we would urge anyone with information to come forward and speak to officers as soon as possible.

“A silver car was seen leaving the scene and I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen this car and provide us with information about its movements.”

A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and is currently in police custody.
