Man arrested and bailed on suspicion of road rage GBH

A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after an road rage incident which left another man with a broken jaw.

Thames Valley Police is still appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place between two motorists on V4 Watling Street, Fenny Stratford, at about 1.30pm on February 15.

The two men got out of their cars and during the incident the victim, a 36-year-old man, was punched in the face by another man, breaking his jaw.

Detectives are particularly interested in speaking to a woman who was driving a silver or gold coloured Landrover behind the offender’s car and may have witnessed the whole thing.

The cars involved blocked the carriageway whilst the altercation took place and it was a busy Saturday afternoon.

The offender is white, aged between 25 and 35-years-old, and between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 10ins tall.

The victim was driving a silver Vauxhall Vectra and the alleged offender was driving a blue Audi A3.

The 32-year-old has been released on police bail until April 20.
