A man was arrested in Milton Keynes last night in connection with a murder in north London earlier this year.
Detectives investigating the murder of Zafer Eren in Tottenham in April arrested the man at a property in Germander Place, Conniburrow, at around 7pm on Monday night.
The 22-year-old was arrested as part of a joint operation between Metropolitan Police and Thames Valley Police officers. He remains in custody at a central London police station.
Another man, aged 20, was arrested at the same time on suspicion of assisting an offender. He remains in custody at a police station in the Thames Valley Police area.
The investigation into Mr Eren’s murder continues and a substantial reward of up to £30,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible is being offered.
The 34-year-old father of one was shot dead in April.
Another 20-year-old man has been charged with the murder and is remanded in custody to stand trial at the Old Bailey on November 11.
