Man assaulted by duo in early morning attack


A MAN was repeatedly punched by two men in an early morning assault near Xscape on Sunday morning.

The 22-year-old suffered cuts to his eyes and injuries to his jaw in the attack which happened at around 2.40am.

The offenders are described as white, all in their early twenties. One is white with short blond hair, stocky build, 5ft 9ins tall. The second is white, with short mousey brown hair, with a stocky build and is around 5ft 10 tall.

Chief Inspector Ed McLean, Deputy Local Police Area Commander for Milton Keynes, said “This was an unprovoked attack on the victim after a night out. This incident is unrelated to one which led to the tragic death of a man.

“I would like to reassure the public that we will have increased visibility in the area and anyone who gets involved in this type of behaviour will be dealt with robustly.

“I would also urge anyone who has any information on this incident to get in contact with the police.”
