Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after a man was attacked by two dogs in Winterhill on Monday, July 25.

At about 3.30pm, the 52-year-old victim was walking at the back of Grampian in Winterhill when two dogs came out of the bushes and attacked him, knocking him to the ground.

Both dogs were described as mongrels, one black and the other brown and white.

The victim was not injured in the incident but was left very shaken.

The dog owner was angry after the victim kicked the dogs while he was still on the ground.

The dog owner is a woman, in her fifties, about 5ft 5ins tall and of medium build. She was wearing a blue flowery top and after the incident she headed towards the Leadenhall area.

PC Shaun Wood, said: “This could have been a nasty incident but luckily the man was not injured. The dog owner showed no remorse and seemed to blame the victim for trying to defend himself.

“I would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or if they remember meeting a dog walker and dogs that fit the above description to contact police.”

Anyone with information can call 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
