A man has been charged with intent to endanger life after a family fled a house fire on Saturday.

Enda Bohan, 35, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of arson with intent to endanger life, following the blaze in Kennet Drive, Bletchley.

Firefighters rescued a woman, a boy and a girl who were suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke.

The fire, which started in the porchway of the house, was put out by crews from Bletchley and Broughton.
