Man in critical condition after bike collision near Newport Pagnell

Two motorbikes were involved in a collision, and both riders came off their bikes on Northampton Road in Lathbury.

One rider, a 32-year-old man, suffered a serious injury to his head and is in John Radcliffe Hospital in a critical condition.

He was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle.

The other rider, a 29-year-old man suffered minor injuries to his chest and leg. He received treatment at John Radcliffe Hospital and has since been discharged. He was riding a red BMW motorcycle.

Investigating officer PC Doug Murphy said: “This was a nasty collision. We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen either motorcycle along the roads nearby just before the accident happened at 7pm.”
