A man has been jailed for three years over drugs offences committed in Milton Keynes.
Tarik Jones, aged 22, was arrested and charged on December 10 when found in a vehicle in Milton Keynes in possession of a large quantity of drugs including class A drugs heroin and cocaine.
Jones of London, pleaded guilty on January 13 at Aylesbury Crown Court to charges of intent to supply class A drugs, possession with intent to supply class B drugs and possession of a class B drug. He was sentenced at the same court on Tuesday January 19.
Investigating officer, PC Fred Ruffle from Milton Keynes police station, said: “This sentence sends a strong message to those involved in the supply of controlled drugs in the Milton Keynes area that action will be taken. I would like to thank the quick thinking of a member of the public who reported suspicious activity to the police which helped prevent these drugs reaching the streets of Milton Keynes.”
