Man knocked unconscious during robbery in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at approximately 9pm on the underpass between Appleyard Place and Childs Way.

The victim was walking towards Sainsbury’s through the underpass with his phone, having walked past houses on Appleyard Place, A man came behind the victim and grabbed his phone.

The victim chased him and attempted to grab his phone back. A second male hit the victim causing him to fall to the floor. The victim lost consciousness for around 10 minutes until an unknown Polish man came to his assistance.

The good Samaritan took the victim to Milton Keynes General Hospital to receive treatment.

The victim received serious head injuries as a result of the assault and his wallet was also stolen.

The first offender is in his early twenties, around 6ft tall with a muscular build. He was wearing a black Nike jacket zipped up with the white tick on his chest and wearing the hood up, he was also wearing dark coloured trousers.

The second offender who hit the victim was approximately 5ft and was wearing a grey coat with the yellow feather hood up.

“Thames Valley Police would like to trace the members of public who assisted the victim and drove him to hospital,” said investigating officer, Detective Constable Susan Russell. We would ask that they contact Milton Keynes CID and ask to speak to DC Susan Russell, shoulder number 6583.

“I would also like any other witnesses to come forward if they have any information about this offence. Anyone who recognises the description of the two men should get in touch via the Thames Valley enquiry centre on 101.”
