Man left injured following collision involving lorry on M1 near Milton Keynes

A crash was reported by the Bucks Fire and Rescue Service taking place on the M1 Northbound between junctions 14 Milton Keynes and Newport Pagnell.

Firefighters had to rescue one injured man who was stuck in his vehicle. Whilst another man and woman were able to get out of their vehicle sustaining only minor injuries.

Three crews of firefighters and fire engines were sent to the scene.

Initially the crash caused two lanes to be closed as per a report from Highways England. The lanes have now reopened ending queues, that had caused up to half-an-hour delays this afternoon.
