Man sentenced to more than two years in prison for drug offences in Milton Keynes

An 18-year-old man has been sentenced to more than two years in prison for a string of drug offences in Milton Keynes.

Fahad Ahmed of Enfield, London, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and was sentenced to 30 months’.

Earlier this year police officers detained Ahmed on suspicion of being involved in the supply of controlled class A drugs in Rossall Place, Hodge Lea.

Ahmed was taken to Milton Keynes police station where a search uncovered that he had concealed packages of drugs.

Investigating officer Mark Burgess, said: “Drugs have devastating effects on people’s lives so I am pleased Ahmed has pleaded guilty to these offences and been jailed so he can no longer supply drugs in our town.

“During our search of Ahmed at Milton Keynes police station a total of 120 wraps of crack cocaine at 19.97 grams and 60 wraps of diamorphine (heroin) at 13.54 grams were found.
“The total street value of these drugs is £1,800.”
