Man sentenced to six years in prison for drug offences in Milton Keynes

A man has been sentenced to a total of six years' imprisonment for drug offences.

Michael Julian, 53, of Westbourne Road, London, was convicted and sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Thursday following a four day trial.

He was found guilty by a jury of one count of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, namely heroin, one count of possession with intent to supply a class A drug, namely cocaine and one count of possessing criminal property.

On 14 January, in New Bradwell, Milton Keynes, Julian was seen by officers in an unmarked vehicle acting suspiciously.

He was stopped and was found with 24 wraps of crack cocaine and one wrap of heroin.

He was also found to be in possession of a significant amount of cash.

Investigating officer detective constable Paul Broughall, said: “I would like to express my thanks to every member of Thames Valley Police involved in this investigation for their exemplary diligence and team work that lead to the arrest of Michael Julian.

“I hope this significant prison sentence serves as a caution to those willing to participate in the illicit drug trade that their actions will not be tolerated.”
