Meet the Sikh community of Milton Keynes at Gurdwara open day
The public are invited to an open day being held at the Gurdwara in Leadenhall on Sunday, September 23, to meet the Sikh community in Milton Keynes.
The event is open to all communities and faiths and there will be interactive talks on wedding ceremonies, an outreach programme to the homeless in Milton Keynes and devotional music. This will be followed by a martial arts display by the youngsters and the event will end with a vegetarian lunch.
The open day begins with a reception at 10.30am. It is etiquette not to take alcohol or tobacco on the premises, dress modestly and remove shoes.
