Memorial to be held for homeless Tony Porter

Sky lanterns will float over MK in memory of Tony Porter who died in the doorway of a city church this week.

The 33-year-old, who had spent more than a decade sleeping rough, will be remembered by friends, family and the community at an even on Sunday.

Tony, who had learning disabilities and an alcohol addiction, was found dead outside the Church of Christ the Cornerstone on Monday.

Friend Donna Fullalove has organised the memorial on Sunday at 6.30pm.

She said: “We will be lighting candles and lanterns in his memory outside the church where he sadly passed away. It would be great for anyone who new him to attend

“We had been friends since we were kid, he was such a lovely person.”
