Midnight Moo back for sixth year

The Willen Hospice MK Midnight Moo is back for its sixth successive year.

Now Willen Hospice is calling on the ladies of Milton Keynes to get moo-ving and join in with the fun on the biggest, ladies only, night out in the city calendar.

The MK Midnight Moo returns with a fantastic multi-coloured theme. The care that Willen Hospice provides to its patients and loved ones is as diverse as the people that walk through the doors – and the MK Midnight Moo 2014 will reflect this diversity with their varied, multi-hued scheme.

Ladies who have taken part before are encouraged to wear any previous years Moo T-Shirts, from white, pink, green, and orange, to last year’s blue. T-Shirts can be personalised giving flamboyant ladies creative reign to make this year’s Moo the biggest, brightest and most vibrant event to date. New Moo walkers will receive a new t-shirt.

Places are limited so register today. Walkers need to be 14 years or older to take part. The Registration Fee of £20 only covers the cost of running the event, so the Hospice relies on the sponsorship money raised to contribute directly.

This year the minimum sponsorship is suggested at £100 per walker and this will ensure the personal challenge of walking 10 miles will help to fund the cost of a Staff Nurse for one shift at the Hospice.

Paul Hinson, Willen Hospice chief executive, said: “The sixth year of the MK Midnight Moo promises to be a unique and amazing event with its multi-colored theme. The previous year’s events have raised over £600,000, providing much needed funds to ensure Willen Hospice continues to provide free care to the local community of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.”
