MILLIE D’Cruz enjoyed the trip of a lifetime to America that saw her swimming with dolphins.
The dream trip was made possible by the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Millie and her family were whisked off to Florida.
While she was there the six-year-old, who suffers from rare condition Metochromatic Leukodystrophy, also had the chance to see a whole host of Disney characters.
Millie and her family are desperately trying to raise £200,000 for lifesaving treatment in Holland to fight the disease
Lin Goddard, who works closely with Millie at St Mary Magdalene School, said: “Although Millie was poorly for two days out of the seven she and her family had a fantastic time”
MK Lightning helped to raise £1,600 for the fund during a match against Guildford where they donated ticket takings.
A Vegas night was held last weekend, Saturday, February 26, and included a mini casino, disco and rock and roll dancers.The event, organised by Kuehne and Nagel helped to raise £772.
The current total is £34,000 of the £200,000 needed for Millie to have her treatment.
