SIX-year-old Millie D’Cruz will soon be swimming with dolphins in Florida thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Millie, who suffers with Metochromatic Leukodystrophy, is desperately seeking to raise around £200,000 to get groundbreaking treatment in Holland.

MP Mark Lancaster visited Mille and her mum Twila at St Mary Magdalene School and promised to write to the Secretary of State for Health, Andrew Lansley, asking about plans to provide treatment for the rare condition on the NHS.

This Sunday, January 23, there will be a special party for Millie at the Hilton Hotel.

A number of items will be auctioned off to raise more for the fund.

A city company is looking for volunteers to give up just three hours of their time to work in a specially set up call centre through a division of Intelligent Group of companies, Intelligent Talk.
