Milton Keynes actor on the big screen at MK Gallery

Sociological drama and crime thriller Hard Tide shows at MK Gallery this evening (Tues), and its star, Milton Keynes-based Nathanael Wiseman will be attending.

Nathanael stars as small time criminal Jake in the film based on a true story.

A product of ‘broken Britain’ and a struggling care system, the story follows Jake on the eve of a turf war against a local gangster.

His world is thrown into complete chaos when he befriends a neglected 9-year-old girl, Jade, after a tragic accident.

This unique British Independent film, which was shot entirely in Margate, focuses on a modern Britain full of contrasts from the breathtaking British coastline to council estates facing cycles of unemployment.

Nathanael has already been long-listed for ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Actor’ by BIFA (British Independent Film Awards).

Doors at 7pm, tickets are on sale at £5 and £3, and the former Stantonbury Campus pupil will attend the showing before participating in a Q&A with the audience.
