Milton Keynes care home supports Dignity Action Day and raises more than £1200
Staff and residents at Milton Court Care Home in Kents Hill were very proud to support Dignity Action Day this month, through a variety of activities and entertainment.
Aternoon teas, musical entertainment and even a balloon release were featured. Some created Dignity trees where residents placed messages they had written on a special tree highlighting what dignity meant to them.
In all, Milton Court Care Home and its visitors helped to raise more than £1,200 for this worthy cause to help enable a positive experience of care now and for the future.
Jan Burns MBE, chair of the National Dignity Council said: “This fundraising cheque is the largest single donation we have ever received and will help us to continue our campaign to promote dignity as a human right, accessible by all.”
