The Chamber is defending its current titles for both the “Excellence in Membership Services” award and “Chamber of the Year” at this year’s ceremony, after scooping both awards in 2015.

Organised by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), the Chamber Awards is considered to be one of the UKs hotly contested business awards that recognises and rewards business success across the UK and the work of local chambers of commerce.

Each year the BCC opens four categories to local chambers.

Paul Griffiths, chief executive of Milton Keynes Chamber, said: “We are over the moon to be shortlisted in these two categories for the second year running.

“We have a dedicated team of staff here at the Chamber and being shortlisted is a deserved recognition of all the exceptional work each and every member of the team has contributed over the last year.

“To retain either or both the “Excellence in Membership Services” and “Chamber of the Year” awards would be an incredible achievement.

“We look forward to the awards ceremony next month.”

The winners of the awards will be announced at the BCC Chamber Awards 2015 ceremony on Thursday, November 24.
