Milton Keynes charity run raises £6k for Willen Hospice

Willen Hospice held its first Lake Run on Sunday around the picturesque Willen Lakes, starting and finishing just outside the Willen Hospice gardens.

Over 300 people attended and so far over £6,000 has been raised to support the specialist care Willen Hospice provides.

Willen Hospice’s services are free to those cared for at the Hospice but to continue to offer that care Willen Hospice needs to raise around £3.6million every year – that works out at around £7 every minute.

“It was a wonderful morning for a run and it was great to see people of all running abilities getting involved and showing much needed support for the care we provide here at Willen Hospice. Thank you to everyone who took part. ”
