Milton Keynes death ‘remains unexplained’


A investigation into the unexplained death of a man in Milton Keynes has been launched.

Shortly after 9.30pm on Friday police received a report of an altercation between two people in a house in Allen Close, Bletchley.

Officers attended and found there to be no altercation in progress.

The 55-year-old victim died in the early hours of Saturday morning at Milton Keynes Hospital.

A Post-Mortem examination, which took place yesterday, found the man’s cause of death to be inconclusive pending pathology results. The death remains unexplained.

Thames Valley Police notified the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) of the circumstances.

A 50-year-old man, who was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of murder, has been released from police custody.
