A delivery man was run over by his own van when he tried to stop a thief driving off in his vehicle.
The 51-year-old was airlifted to the John Radcliffe hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
He had left his white Sprinter van to make a delivery at the Rickyard in Clifton Reynes at around 3pm on Wednesday.
While he was out of sight, the offender got into the victim’s van and started to drive off.
Despite the victim attempting to stop him, the driver continued and drove over him.
The offender is in his 20s, white, slim and with short dark hair.
He has a limp on his right leg and his right hand is bent. He was wearing a check shirt with a hood over his head.
