Milton Keynes drug dealer given over 100 hours of unpaid work

Liiban Makail, of Avon Grove, Bletchley was convicted of one count of offer to supply class B drugs, and one count of possession with intent to supply on September 11 at Amersham Crown Court.

Makail pleaded not guilty to two counts of offer to supply class B drugs, and one count of possession with intent to supply at an earlier hearing at Amersham Magistrates’ Court.

On December 1 last year, officers were alerted by a member of the public that the occupant of a vehicle driving around Milton Keynes had offered to sell them cannabis.

On searching the vehicle and his person, he was found in possession of a total weight of 17.41 grams of cannabis, worth around £265.

Makail was also identified as the individual offering to sell cannabis to a member of the public through an identification procedure.

Alexander was arrested on the same day (December 1, 2015) and charged on August 13, 2016 with the offences.

Detective constable Peter Cave, said: “Thanks to a call from a member of the public, we were able to act quickly and arrest Makail.

“Thames Valley Police are committed to tackling the possession and supply of drugs, this sort of crime has a devastating effect on communities, and hopefully this sentence reflects that these crimes will not go unpunished.

“Anyone who sees anyone acting suspiciously in their area should call us on 101 or in an emergency 999.”
