Milton Keynes family have a Jurassic day out!
The Kwan Law family won a competition in the Milton Keynes Citizen to attend the special preview of Zoorassic Park, a whole week before the mammoth, walk-through experience opens to the public.

Hide AdNot only did they come face to face with colossal creatures like the immense but gentle Brachiosaurus and the towering Tyrannosaurus rex, but they also got to dig up their own dino fossils and learn all about the important work ZSL’s scientists are doing to help prevent today’s animals from becoming extinct.
“My favourite was the T-Rex, because it roared and its eyes moved! I also really liked the Dino Dig, because I found lots of bones,” said seven-year-old Otin.
“I liked the T-Rex too but I also really like the Dilophosaurus because it squirted me with water!” Rebeeca added.

Hide AdFrom 23 July, for just six weeks, visitors to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo will step back in time into the sights and sounds of the Mesozoic era, where they will encounter lesser-known creatures like the gargantuan, winged quetzalcoatlus (pronounced ‘ketsle-koh-atlas’), as well as spot dino-fan favourites like the triceratops, proudly guarding its nest.
With daily shows in which visitors can discover ‘How to Train Your Dinosaur’ and a fun trail for kids to complete, there’s something for everyone to take part in, and little ones can even turn themselves into their favourite dinosaur at the face-painting stand.
