Walton High students have been saluted for their “excellent” results.
Celebrating today was Ben Wylie who achieved five grade 9s in biology, computer science, geography, maths and drama. Ben also achieved 8,8,8,7,7,A in his other subjects, and will stay at the school in September to study maths, further maths and physics.
Joining in the celebrations were Tom Newby (9,9,9,9,8,8,8,8,8,8,7 and A*) whose A Level plans include study biology, chemistry, geography and EPQ, plus Zerak Hassan who collected achieving four grade 9s, two grade 8s and an A among his results;.
Executive principal Michelle Currie said: “At a time of significant change in education, students, along with their parents and their teachers, should feel very proud of their achievements and we wish them continued success in the future.”
