The city’s Greens say they are backing their party’s 2015 manifesto, which was unveiled this week.
Samantha Pancheri, Green Party candidate for Milton Keynes South, said she feels “incredibly proud” of her party’s five-year plan.
She said: “This manifesto presents the Green Party’s genuine alternative to our tired, business-as-usual politics.
“These policies highlight the Green Party’s commitment to social justice, restoring public services and tackling climate change.
“It’s a great privilege to represent a party which truly has the needs of people at its heart.”
Her colleague running for the MK North seat, Jennifer Marklew, says her party has “worked tirelessly” to give Milton Keynes the opportunity to vote forwhat they believe in.
She said: “The policies laid out in our manifesto shows the Green Party offers the electorate hope and a new kind of politics.
“Our manifesto is a bold plan to make a positive difference to people’s lives, create new jobs and help protect our environment.”
