What better way to celebrate 20 years of Milton Keynes Hospital Charity than raising £20 for its work?
The charity wants people across the city to join the celebration by taking part in the £20 Challenge, by raising that figure - or more! - as an individual or as part of a group.
All money donated to the charity helps to support patients and their families in the local community, so fundraisers are being encouraged to get as creative as they can.
Head of fundraising Vanessa Holmes said: “We’re really excited about the campaign, which will be a great opportunity for people to get creative and choose a challenge that interests them.
“For the past 20 years our charity has been funding items to enhance patient care at the hospital. We’re reliant on donations to help the hospital go over and above for patients and their families –whether that’s through funding new equipment, brightening up a ward area or providing extra toys for young patients.
“£20 might not seem like a huge amount but these donations will make a real difference to the thousands of patients and their families the hospital sees each year.”
