Last week,, the 60-strong team organised their own Comic Con Day at their offices in Central Milton Keynes, an idea that was formulated by their senior management.

There was plenty of activity going on with fancy dress, food, drinks and a BBQ. Each team member was asked to make a contribution in return, with all money raised going to the Cancer Centre Appeal. So far this super team have raised £800!

Oliver Chandler, deputy head of IT said: “We wanted to organise a fun and exciting event for our team – with an element of team building – as well as support the Cancer Centre Appeal, which means a lot to us. We were really pleased with the effort everyone went to!”

Jenny Howells, senior community and events fundraiser at Milton Keynes Hospital Charity said: “I was so excited when the team told me about their plans for the day. It’s amazing to see staff get pulling together to get behind our appeal and what a creative event!”
