Milton Keynes hosts first CryptoParty helping women learn more about security online
It is being hosted by GirlsCode MK, a non-profit organisation that teaches programming to girls and women, and this unique and free event will be taking place on Thursday, May 10.
GirlsCode MK are based The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) at Bletchley Park and organise regular meet-ups, NodeSchool MK, Django Girls MK and now the CryptoParty MK - hosting around 30 events each year.

Hide AdThe evening party gives the opportunity to learn the basics from experts and other participants, listen to enlightening talks, take part in workshops, make friends and teach others and discover more about cybersecurity.
You can take your smartphone, tablet and laptop to get most out of the workshops.
CryptoParty is hosted by the MK Gallery and is completely free to attend. There will be music and a welcoming atmosphere where you will be able to learn loads and benefit from it on the spot.
