Santa’s sleigh will be pulled by concrete cows instead of reindeer this year, thanks to a winning Christmas card design created by schoolboy Vincent Chiata.
Vincent, a pupil at Stanton School, Milton Keynes, came up with the design when entering a competition to design a Chrismtas card for MP Mark Lancaster.
The annual competition was once again hotly contested by youngsters across Milton Keynes with Year 5 and 6 youngsters asked to create a card that represented Milton Keynes - but with a concrete cow twist.
It attracted a host of colourful and creative designs with the phrase, “Mooey Christmas”, featuring as a firm favourite as an alternative Christmas greeting.
Mark Lancaster, MP for MK North, announced the winner and presented Vincent with a certificate and printed card at the MK Gallery Project Space.
The gallery will be exhibiting all the festive entries at the Project Space located in Margaret Powell Square opposite the main gallery. The exhibition will run until Sunday, January 4.
Mr Lancaster said: “The Prime Minster and the Queen will receive a card from me with Vincent’s creative MK design and, without a doubt, it will be the only one they receive with Santa’s sleigh being pulled by concrete cows!”
