A glitzy ceremony was held with a black-tie dinner and a live band at The Jury’s Inn in Milton Keynes, where retailers turned up in their finest to be recognised for their success.

Russell Golding, director of the ZipYard Milton Keynes, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to win this award.

“We’re building this business on an ethos of delivering the highest quality of service to our customers, so to be recognised for our hard work means so much.

“I am extremely grateful to the close knit team who work with me at the ZipYard, I believe in my business and employ brilliant people who are not afraid of hard work.

“Our seamstresses really can do anything and think nothing of going the extra mile for our customers and this award is testament to the strength and loyalty of everyone.”

Members of the public cast their votes in droves online at the Intu Milton Keynes website.

The ZipYard beat off stiff competition from the likes of retail giants Debenhams, H&M and Zara to name a few, they also came in the top three in the ‘specialist retailer’ category as well as being nominated for the ‘best window display’.

Russell added: “It was such a brilliant night, rewarding a fantastic and hardworking bunch of people.
“The success of Intu Milton Keynes is down to the quality and passion of all the retailers and the complete shopping experience we offer our visitors.”
