The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Keith McLean joined vice president of VMware EUC Ian Evans to cut the ribbon at the company premises in Central Milton Keynes, signalling the start of further expansion.
Since starting operations in Milton Keynes in 2011, the company - a global leader in cloud infrastructure and business mobility - has grown from five employees to more than 300 today.
“Milton Keynes is the UK’s new tech hub,” Mr Evans said.
“VMware AirWatch has experienced a phenomenal growth year after year and we have been confirmed as leaders in the mobility market by the most prestigious analyst firms.
