Milton Keynes man, 24, gets prison sentence following police raid where he was caught with 'ball of drugs in his trousers'

A 24-year-old man has been sentenced to three years in prison following a drugs bust in Milton Keynes where he was caught with cocaine and heroin

Thames Valley Police (TVP) said Sharmarke Hassan, of Boycott Avenue, Milton Keynes, pleaded guilty to one count each of possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin in a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on October 9.

Returning to the same court on Friday (November 6), Hassan was sentenced to a total of three years’ imprisonment, according to TVP.

On March 15 last year, a drugs raid was executed at an address in Petersfield Green, Milton Keynes.

Police said Hassan was found in possession of a ball of drugs which were in his trousers, £500 in cash and a mobile phone.

Officers said he was arrested and charged with the offences the following day (March 16).

Investigating officer Detective Constable Becci Wade said: “Tackling drugs supply is always a top priority of TVP, and we will actively seek to disrupt drug suppliers in our communities.
